Overlay

Technique:  Overlay and "Underlay":  Two pieces of metal are formed to the size and shape of the ring to be, one or both may be cut with a pierced line design and then the two are joined.

Technique and Style: Inside out overlay, otherwise known as an "underlay". The ring's shape is anticlastic and was given soft edges and a natural feel (inspired by a the look of driftwood).
